The Dietz #50 Comet Lantern is one of the newer lanterns, the Dietz #50 Comet was first introduced in 1939, replacing the various small Dead Flame household lanterns of the day. Far from a toy, the #50 is patterned after the #30, and is perfect for those nighttime trips to the outhouse. Features a rising cone for easy lighting and wick trimming.

This lantern is only available as an electric table lamp. We use a UL approved candlabra socket with a line switch and lamp cord to electrifiy the lantern. A silicone covered bulb is included.
